Magnet® Designation
We’re extremely proud of our nurses and the work that they do every day. The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Magnet Recognition Program® provides a roadmap to advance nursing excellence. Magnet®-recognized organizations embody a collaborative culture, where nurses are valued as integral partners in the patient’s safe passage through their healthcare experiences. Interprofessional collaboration is nurtured, with a focus on mutual respect, autonomy, and shared values. This results in high nurse satisfaction, high patient satisfaction, and high-quality patient outcomes. The Magnet Recognition Program® framework is part an integral strategy for Conway Regional to meet its organizational and nursing strategic priorities.
Magnet® recognition involves the contributions of all our Conway Regional employees. It takes each role and department to deliver the outstanding care for which we are known. To be considered for the honor, hospitals must reapply every four years and complete a rigorous credentialing process that can take a year or longer, including a visit from ANCC appraisers that interview patients, staff, physicians and community members.

DAISY Awards
Conway Regional Medical Center is honored to participate in the DAISY Award to honor nurses who impact patient care. The DAISY (Diseases Attacking the Immune System) award is an international recognition program that honors and celebrates the skillful, compassionate care nurses provide every day. The DAISY Foundation was established by the family of J. Patrick Barnes after he died from complications of the auto-immune disease ITP in 1999. During his hospitalization, they deeply appreciated the care and compassion shown to Patrick and his entire family. When he died, they felt compelled to say “thank you” to nurses in a very public way.

BEE Awards
The BEE (Be Exceptional Everyday) award was created by the Conway Regional’s Recruitment and Retention Council to honor non-nursing employees who demonstrate exemplary care for patients, visitors, and co-workers. The BEE complements the national DAISY award which honors nurses. It is awarded every two months at Conway Regional.

The Great 100 Nurses organization accepts nominations each year, and exemplary nurses are selected based on their concern for humanity, their contributions to the profession of nursing, and their mentoring of others.

40 Under 40
40 Nurse Leaders Under 40 honors emerging nurse leaders in the state who are under the age of 40. The honorees were selected using criteria on how each applicant stood out among their peers in four distinctive areas: commitment to excellence, service/outreach, leadership qualities, and their contributions to the advancement of the nursing profession.
Every year, the Arkansas Center of Nursing (ACN) honors Arkansas' top 40 Under 40 nurses. The following CRHS nurse leaders were selected in 2020:
