Patient Care Tech achieves BEE Award for the Care She Provides to Patients and Staff

In one example, she recruited security officers to help during the discharge of a patient and her ailing husband. Both were at risk of falling. On the way back to her work unit, Bradley found a wheelchair for a visitor and then took him back to the patient unit to be with his wife.

Jessica Bradley, a patient care tech, is the latest winner of Conway Regional Health System’s Be Exceptional Every day (BEE) award.

“I love all of my patients and I will always go above and beyond for them,” said Bradley during a surprise award presentation. “This my home.” Recipients of the BEE award are chosen by the Patient Care Governing Congress based on a nomination from a patient, family, or coworker. It is an anonymous selection process that honors non-nurse team members at Conway Regional.

The nomination described Bradley as “a team player who nurtures new employees to ensure their success,” adding that “she shows excellence every day through her patient care and the attitude she takes training our new employees.”

BEE winners receive a stone statue award, a parking spot for two months, and cinnamon rolls. The award complements the national DAISY award that nurses at Conway Regional receive for providing exceptional care to patients and team members.
